Summary: Bankers Commercial Life Insurance Company (“BCL”) wrote primarily health business in the state of Nebraska. During much of 2000, United Teacher Associates Insurance Company (“UTA”) served as the third party administration contact for this insolvency. In February, 2001, these third party administrator functions were transferred from UTA to New Era Life Insurance Company.
